I think it’s important to say that what works for one may not work for the other, the gabapentin has been a huge help to me, but may not work for the next person! And if you aren’t comfortable taking it there’s nothing wrong with it at all :) you know your body better then anyone and need to be an advocate for yourself :) I book I found super helpful with lots of holistic and modern med applications is called the FibroManual, it’s writteb by a doctor in the United States who has a fibro clinic and herself has fibro and went through a horrible time getting diagnosed! It’s not a pushy book at all it just goes through a plan that she used with her patients and tells about supplements, massage anything and everything I really enjoyed it!

Well figuring my headaches out has been a hard one, it radiates down into my shoulder from my lower neck and then up from my neck to the top of my head. I’ve been using magnesium lotion which does seem to help. Also my internist perscribed gabapentin at bedtime with zopivlone and Tylenol with a muscle relaxant if the headaches are really bad and I have e to say it’s been working. By the end of the day they are back, so I try to avoid bright lights in our house, need to quiet everything down and then hot bath with Epsom salts. Going to buy magnesium flakes for the bath they are supposed to help as well. Sorry for being so long winded! Oh and a warm wheet bag for my neck helps greatly!

Yes I have one. It does seem
To help a little. Need to use regularly. Not a quick fix but helps with energy and legs cramps.

Such a great book! Especially since the author herself has fibro and I love how she uses all therapies! Not just modern med! And her suggestions for medications are all broken down and again since she’s an author it holds some weight. And she suggested taking the book to your family doctor to discuss it and sites recent studies to support each one! Love her!
