I was giving it some thought this weekend, and i cannot remember my mother or grandmother or any other women in my life, ever suffering with the symptoms we have. I mean i understand that perhaps the diagnosis would not yet have been available, but that would not mean the symptoms were not there if they were in fact there...what i am trying to say is; do you think that it is as a result of the toxins, pesticides and other genetically altered foods, grains, veggies, fruits and meat that we live… read more

Mold toxins create a profound inflammatory reaction within the body that looks almost identical to fibromyalgia.
In fact, in 2013, Dr. Joseph Brewer, an Infectious Disease specialist from Kansas City, published his research showing that of 112 patients with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome who had not responded to his usual treatment program, 92% of them tested positive in a urine test for mycotoxins (mold toxins). Happily, he then demonstrated in two subsequent papers using 100 consecutive patients for each, that 89% and 94% of those patients were markedly improved or cured by treating their mold toxicity.
I agree. A food panel test (done w/blood work) verified it for me. I'm not gluten intolerant but food allergies say I need a gluten free diet. Also, red meat, eggs, dairy, coffee, chocolate ( sugar hugh I'm finding out), and more... seems like all the food I ate was wrong for me. I followed an extremely strict diet for 2 months avoiding all known food allergies from the test & writing down everything that entered my mouth basically.. my pain was gone!!! Very very hard to stick to diet to say the least.. I was also told it takes 3 days for the food to pass thru ur body & could take up to 3 weeks for your body to acknowledge the change. Hope this helps
Most definitely our environment has something to do with it. Our bodies produce 300 sextillion (that’s 300 + 21 zeros) free radicals a day due to toxins from poor diet, pollution, medications, stress, trauma, aging, infections and radiation. When we are young our bodies are capable of producing enough antioxidants to combat these free radicals but with age that ability diminishes. It takes one antioxidant to combat one free radical which means we need to consume a lot of antioxidants in a day and that is impossible by food alone. The difference between the free radicals and the antioxidants is called oxidative stress which affects every organ in our body. Over 100 diseases and illnesses are tied to oxidative stress.
That is why I take NRF2 as it reduces oxidative stress by activating a protein messenger in every cell of our body so our bodies once again produce antioxidants. It's all natural and plant based.
I think this certainly has something to do with it, and the anti-depressant thing too... I think it may be a combination of the two... It may be the food that has caused us to experience depression and the anti-depressants just add to it! People, I think we would probably be far healthier if we all lived off the grid, grew our own fruit and veg and raised our own cattle, pigs, chickens etc. If only it were possible...
Thanks @A MyFibroTeam Member ... sorry i would use your real name if i knew it ... I hear you about the diet, but i would LOVE to hear what your diet was??? If you still have it???
