Breast Lump

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

Hey everyone, I just wanted to know if anyone has gotten any breast lumps due to fibro. I currently have a lump on my right breast it's quite big and my breast feels very hard compared to the left one also my back is painful (right at the spot where my breast would be if it was on my back if that makes sense).
I've got an appoitment tomorrow but just wanted to ask if anyone has had this before?
Thanks and gentle hugs everyone x

Good luck with the referral. Everything should be ok. If they are waiting a couple of weeks for a letter, it's not urgent or anything to worry about.
Hugs xx

Yes I have had that before but definitely talk about it to your doctor. They can do an MRI with the injectable dye.
I have those when I get my really bad migraines and I am literally sick . My head then spins and I get all hot and sweaty and clammy.

Hi Tamara

I had the same thing. Hard burning hot right breast. Cramps on the upper as well aa the outer side. Underarm pains. Lumps. I went for an ultrasound. There was nothing, no lumps and no swollen lymph nodes. I think its the fibro and the medication.

I also saw when im not stressed it goes away.

Hope everything ia fine

I've had this.
Fibrocystic Breast Disease and Fibromyalgia. ... Breast pain, or mastalgia, is something most women experience at some point in their lives, but women with fibromyalgia seem to experience the symptoms more intensely. And one of the most common causes of breast pain is something called fibrocystic breast disease.
