My body strikes back again. Unfortunately I hate to say this but i've been losing my hair. its thinning, dry, brittle and shedding. Just did my blood work today to check thyroid levels. Its never a good run for long. I don't know what else is wrong with me. Any link with fibro/hair/thyroid?

Members connected over the frustrating experience of hair loss and scalp issues linked to fibromyalgia, with many sharing that their thyroid levels came back normal despite thinning, brittle hair and persistent scalp tenderness. Several members offered practical solutions that worked for them, including switching to organic or aloe vera-based shampoos, avoiding supermarket products with harsh chemicals, using hair growth treatments like Nioxin, taking quality multivitamins (especially B12, C, D, and calcium/magnesium), and applying deep conditioning or hair masks to nourish the scalp. A recurring theme was the realization that fibromyalgia involves over 200 possible symptoms, with bodies becoming increasingly sensitive to synthetic ingredients and new issues emerging unpredictably.

I use a product called Nisum , and I started taking lots of vitamins. The Nisum helps the hair grow back and it really works, the vitamins stop the falling out. It takes a while before you notice that there's these unruly little hairs coming. You dont need much either a few drops on scalp , a bottle last forever. Its a enzyme of some sort I read. Been using it for 20 years. ( good quality multi, c, d, b12, cal/mag)

Weird question, but are you using any shampoo and conditioner and if so, what type?
Basically, I switched over to this aloe Vera all organic shampoo and conditioner, my hair stopped falling out. It’s like my body is allergic to anything unnatural lol. Have a look into it!!
