I noticed this morning in the shower that my right hand went from minor little twitches to an actual constant shake. Then it gets stiff for a moment and then goes back to shaking. It’s making it a challenge to get things done.

Members strongly validated the experience of hand tremors, with many sharing that they have dealt with similar episodes ranging from occasional shaking to constant trembling that impacts daily tasks. Several members offered practical guidance, including getting thyroid levels checked (as hypothyroidism can cause tremors), discussing symptoms with a doctor to rule out conditions like seizure disorders, and exploring whether stress or anxiety might be contributing factors, with one member finding relief through counseling, prayer, and liquid multivitamins. A recurring theme was reassurance that tremors are a recognized fibromyalgia symptom, helping others feel less isolated and fearful about what they were experiencing.

Hi MrStanders,

Yes I had this for a few years and it freaked me out every time. Obviously see what a doctor says because it could be a number of different things, but for me it was a small version of a panic attack and anxiety. When I hyperventilated a bit my hands would start tremoring, but sometimes all I was aware of was my hand tremor. What’s helped me a lot is counseling and prayer, and also taking multi-vitamins. There’s a prenatal vitamin called “Buried Treasure” that’s all liquid. I know that’s meant for pregnant women but it has helped my tremors and panic significantly. So maybe there’s some vitamin in there that I was lacking or that I wasn’t able to absorb until it was all liquid?

Anyway, that’s just my story. Will pray you find relief soon.
