Breast Pain
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I struggle with tenderness and shooting nerve pains in my breasts. Is this something someone else has experienced, or should I be concerned about a cause not associated with fibromyalgia?

I too suffer with it. Only on my right side. I’ve had mammogram and ultrasound and neither showed anything wrong. I also have terrible rib pain. My rheumatologist diagnosed me with costochondritis.

I get the same thing. Had ultrasounds and a mammogram all clear. Wondering if it’s Costochondritis. This is the only pain that has scared me because breast cancer is so common and always in our faces.

Yes I get that. And I have read others have the same pains. Sleeping in a sleep bra (Bit like a really soft sports bra) really helps. If it seems worse at different times of the month try evening primrose or star flower tablets

It might be chostiochonstritis (spelling?), I get that too. It's very common with fibro. I would maybe go get it checked out in case.

Red light therapy really helps me with my chest and ribs.
