I don't mean going overboard on alcohol, maybe after a glass of wine or two.

Articles I read stated the following should be avoided:

Gluten: Unknowingly, many have gluten intolerance to foods such as wheat flour and other grains. Inability to digest gluten can cause inflammation in the gut. Inflammation can cross the gut lining and into the bloodstream and elsewhere. Some alcoholic beverages are made from grain.

Sugars: Carbohydrates turn into sugar after consumption.

Nightshade family plants: If, along with Fibromyalgia, you also suffer from arthritis, it has been suggested in medical articles that you avoid members of the nightshade family of plants: tomatoes, white potatoes, chilis, peppers (such as bell peppers) and eggplants. Some individuals are very sensitive to nightshade plants which can cause inflammation. So, if you suspect you are, try not to eat them for a while and read all labels.

So true about Carbs, Alcohol and Sugar. They usually r not something I usually have to worry about in the warm months because I don't crave any of them. But once the days get shorter, less daylight and the weather gets colder I crave Sugar and Carbs like Crazy....and that really effects another illness of mine....Chrones Disease

I absolutely agree, I can’t remember the last time I was brave enough to drink. I do miss a glass of wine

Yes this has started to happen to me within the last year. If I drink I always feel my symptoms get worse along with just a general feeling of being unwell.
