What is the best doctor for fibromyalgia? I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia over 20 years ago. I just went to a rheumatologist who diagnosed me with osteopenia and osteoarthritis. Then he said that's all he could do to help me.

my pcp has been treating me. i went to a rheum several years ago and she told me my pcp was doing fine with treatment so i never went back. If she sees or hears something that she isnt sure of she sends me to someone who will know. done well by me so far.

Since it's a mystery illness, there's not really drs who specialize in fibro. Some of the authors of fibro books specialize in it because of their experience but not because of their specific job title if that makes sense. Maybe if you google fibro book authors you can find a dr near you. I think theres a Dr. Murphee in the South or something? Theres at least a few of them. Good luck hun.
