Members connected over the challenge of dating with fibromyalgia, sharing feelings of loneliness, worry about appearing healthy while struggling with daily tasks, and difficulty finding compatible partners. The original poster offered practical strategies that have helped them stay active in the dating world, including having a go-to outfit ready, using taxis to conserve energy, choosing low-key venues like coffee shops or theaters with extra legroom, and always building in rest time before and after dates. A recurring theme was the importance of self-acceptance and pacing, with members encouraging each other to be honest about their limitations, cancel plans when needed without guilt, and trust that the right person will accept them as they are.

My advice @A MyFibroTeam Member is to explore your limitations and capabilities within the Dating Scene prior to consider joining any dating site, look around for a Date specific site,
e.g, Spiritual Dating, Dating For single parents, dating for young/mature people etc.
Once you are comfortable with knowing yourself, baby steps towards getting to know a.n.other

Just be yourself @A MyFibroTeam Member
They will either accept you for who you are. If they don't, they lost out on a beautiful friend and love.
