Hi, I haven't been officially diagnosed with fibromyalgia as yet but its going down that route. So depressed and fed up. Every day is throwing me new pain and difficulties. Over the last two weeks I have been finding that even walking is causing me problems. My legs feel heavy and achy and I feel as if its such a long slog to walk, especially stairs. I sweat terribly as well

Hi there, sorry you are going through such touph times and your love ones dont undestand. I was diagnosed on 2011. It was bad! Exactly what your feeling and pain added. Its 2018 and its been hard and challenging. I find that besides medication, the power of ur mind will help. You need to be mentally strong to survive this. When you feel like you cant try to push yourself the more active you are the better you will feel. Of coarse you do need lots of rest too so know how to balance.
I hate the fact that my legs ache so bad and this cold weather definitely doesn’t help! I used to walk so much everyday when I first got fibro and now I’m lucky to make it around the block! Life sucks sometimes! (Sorry for the negative but can you tell I’m in a lot of pain today?)😢
I have trouble just getting out of bed, I was told in early 20's I would be in a wheel chair. I was not letting some doctor tell me that, I am 57 and still walking, yes I walk with a Cain, yes the pain is overwhelming. But I will continue to use my legs. It feels like I'm just going to break in half. I won't them. Keep strong, keep walking because if you don't, you won't. Don't give up. Keep going strong
Exactly. People think this is just about pain but it's a million different things that you'd never think to be related and can sometimes sound crazy to people who don't understand what it is to have fibro. It is all consuming. But it really does help to have a place to go where everyone just gets it.
Makes me feel like a slug bug! NOT your imagination. My advice is to keep reading on this site so you don't get scared by symptoms as they appear. Lots of experience and knowledge shared here💛
