There are schools of individuals who think the EB Virus causes fibro. EB virus is linked to MS as well. It’s in the herpes zoster family and is stored in the basel ganglia I believe. So if there’s truth to that, while pregnant your body supresses things like this. If you’ve got something like reoccurring EB virus that is now chronic, it could very well be some type of odd auto inflammation...just one of the things I ponder. So if you have anything auto immune, but your immune system begins suppressing itself, like when your pregnant, it tones down whatever is trying to attack your body -weakens the immune system. It’s like prednisone...essentially that does the same thing i.e a natural immunosuppressant

Yes, they can go hand in hand. Like my lupus and fibro. I believe the onset of lupus was what triggered fibro, since they occured or reared their ugly heads within the same year.
