Does anyone know how you know if you have both.? I have widespread pain including joints and what Rheumy thinks is IBD. Just started Methotrexate. I try to push through chronic fatigue for my boys and for work but finding it increasingly hard with weekends spent in bed and crawling downstairs. I’m slim but finding it too painful to exercise. When you have one autoimmune disease, there is overwhelming chance that you have others. Thyroid, Hashimoto, Sjogren's Syndrome, Fibro and Lupus; then there is Autoimmune Encephalopathy. Get your antibodies tested along with your thyroid after viewing "Stop the Thyroid Madness". Be well, Be blessed
I do not have both. There is not one test available for lupus but blood testing is generally dond and like this article states it generally overlaps with fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis etc.

Please keep us updated on a diagnosis. I have fibromyalgia and recently think I have some neurological disorder as well. Fibro is so frustrating.
There’s blood work for them to know if u have lupus. If I’m not sure my rheumatologist told me it’s something u wld find in ur early 30s but if u don’t go to dr no one will know until ur in the pains and need the help. I dnt think it’s a normal testing a primary does. If ur rheumatologist did blood work I’m sure that was one they did. But idk. I’d ask.
My doctor thinks that’s a possibility too @A MyFibroTeam Member hope you are not suffering too much. Have you been on methotrexate? Xxx
