Members expressed deep solidarity with someone navigating the overlapping challenges of menopause and fibromyalgia, sharing how the transition brought increased anxiety, worsening sleep, heavy perspiration, and an intensified sense of gloom that medication alone couldn't shake. Several members offered practical strategies, including talking to a doctor about temporary hormone therapy or medication adjustments, adding 5,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily for hot flashes and mood support, and working with a therapist to manage stress and identify personal triggers for overdoing it. A recurring theme was the exhaustion of feeling like you should be getting better when fibromyalgia doesn't work that way, coupled with the frustration of others not understanding the relentless nature of the illness and the emotional toll it takes.

You may need the doctor to adjust your meds or search for home remedies for depression. Home remedies also work.

I believe I’m finished menopause but who can shake the doom and gloom with this illness?? I’m trying to stay strong and happy but it’s not working for me either!! I don’t think the weather helps any but I was even like this in the summer! Again I’m getting so fed up with the pain and all the bullshit that goes with it! I just wish people could understand too cause it really pisses me off when they say stupid comments but there’s no point in even trying to explain! Sorry for the rant, I’ll sign off now! Lol

My Dr says I’m menopausal but I swear I went through it years ago with major hot flashes and waking up soaked and I still feel the gloom and doom a lot
