Being diagnosed in July, I'm not sure what is what. The meds have helped so much with the aches and pains but over the last week, my lower back feels like it's going to lock up. I have I created my workout but not that much. It's been like this for over a week and I havent been in the gym since Thursday. Is this part of the fibro? Getting up, laying down, any initial movement hurts but once I'm sitting, laying, or walking, its better
I have had 3 back surgeries, many many steroid injections, radio frequency treatment, and acupuncture. The best treatment I have found so far is the neural stimulator. It is like a tens unit only implanted in your back. It blocks the pain impulses to the brain. I go to a Pain Rehab specialist. I am off opioids!!!
I've had back problems for over a year now. I finally had a nerve study done in May and they found a pinched nerve in my back. I've been getting cortisone injections and finally a spinal block which helped a lot. When it's really bad, I have to take opiods. Thankfully, the last month it has eased up. Just in time for my winter flares! Good luck and rest. See an orthopedic specialist if it lasts too much longer. There may be underlying issues.
Well, it is part of my Fibro symptoms. "Any initial movement hurts but once I'm moving it's better" fits me!
I've constantly got issues with lower back, so painful. Apparently it's part of the Fibro
^ continued. I walked around one whole day bent over because i couldnt “unlock” mine
