I take Cymbalta 60 mg with a muscle relaxant (Tizanidine), Vitamin D & magnesium at night before I sleep. Magnesium is a sleep booster & helps me sleep thru the night. They all help get rid of muscle spasms too.
I’m now on Savella. I’ve tried a lot of different medications that arent opiates and none of them helped. Just started Savella so not sure how its going to work yet. Cymbalta, gabapentin, different kinds of nsaids, low dose naltrexone, etc. I do take tizanidine (muscle relaxer) at night that helps me sleep.
I use a CBD salve and it works better than any pain killer I have tried. I use Kannaway.com. They ship! The products have little to no THC. They also have a soak that I use for really bad days. Since I started using potent CBD, I use probably 70% less pharmaceuticals.
Both have great benefits! As a teacher, I have to be careful with THC. CBD is not tested :)
Thank you everyone for your comments and suggestions. I do use cannabis, but really do not like smoking it all the time. The gel caps are too expensive for me. I am going to look into the salve that mweinhold suggested.
I have been modifying my diet for some time, but did slip up quite a bit recently. Too many bbqs and dinners out. That could be a big contribution to my pain levels being so bad lately. Cheers and thank you again.
