I'm have started cutting out caffeine and starting a more vegetarian diet for other health reasons. Just wonder if it may have an effect on my fibromyalgia.
I started eating vegetarian a a few years ago hoping to lose some weight. Didnt even think it might help my fibro. Wow i was surprised after about a month i notice i had a more all around better feeling.
Just before I was diagnosed with Fibro I was feeling so bad I went on an elimination diet: no milk, no wheat, no caffeine. I thought the milk would be the issue, but no, it was the wheat and now I'm gluten free. I also stayed off caffeine and drink caffeine free coffee and herbal tea. I don't know how much it helps the fibro but it totally stopped my sinus congestion and cough.I

Caffeine magnifies pain for me so I limit myself to one cup of tea/coffee in the morning. If I want more I do decaf.
I hate cymbaltas withdrawal symptoms. But it does decrease my pain when I'm on it. I hurt ten times worse if I've been without for 3 days or more. I want to get off of it though.
Thank you. I'm hoping it helps improve my energy level.
