I sweat quite badly every day regardless if its hit or a cold day. Its such a pain, the sweat drips of my face and back of my neck, i look like i have just come out of a shower. It starts as soon as i do anything physical, and i hate it! What can you do when its this bad? I am on venaflexin and hrt patches Are these any help.

Members deeply related to the frustration and embarrassment of excessive daily sweating regardless of temperature or activity level, describing hair and clothes becoming drenched to the point of needing frequent changes throughout the day. Several members shared potential causes and practical coping strategies, including checking with doctors about thyroid issues (one member's underactive thyroid diagnosis led to improvement with medication), recognizing it as a possible fibromyalgia symptom or side effect of antidepressants like Venlafaxine and Duloxetine, carrying spare clothes, wearing layers to hide wet shirts, and considering treatments like Botox injections for hyperhidrosis. A recurring theme was the challenge of pinpointing whether sweating stems from fibromyalgia itself, medications, menopause, or a combination of factors, alongside shared empathy for how this symptom affects daily life, special occasions, and self-confidence.

I didn't used to sweat but I do now no matter where I am whether it's cold or not I swept there's nothing that can help me except for I just take another shower I haven't tried those medications so I don't know if they work or not but with me the cold the fibromyalgia is even worse

My hair gets soaked if i rush around or sometimes just drying my hair. It is embarrasing when it happens in public. Ive had fibro for 30 plus years and this only started about 5 years ago. I dont know if its fibro but i know several people on here have the same issue. If anyone has any suggestions for us, please let us know. Good luck. I hope it goes away for all of us. Hugs
