Members shared diverse experiences with narcotics for fibromyalgia pain, with many finding that medications like oxycodone, morphine, Norco, and Fentanyl patches provided significant relief while others reported little to no benefit or uncomfortable side effects. Several members offered alternatives including low-dose naltrexone, CBD products, kratom, Pain Freeze topical cream, and supplements like melatonin and Benadryl, with many emphasizing the importance of finding what works for each individual body. A recurring theme was frustration with doctors who refuse to prescribe pain medication or push invasive procedures, balanced by encouragement to advocate for oneself, maintain open dialogue with providers, and not let fear or judgment prevent access to medications that genuinely improve quality of life.

I started using Fentanyl pain patches and taking Norco years ago because of severe back problems. They relieved that pain and completely remove the pain from fibro flares. I am very grateful to have them available for me.

Talk to her about low dose naltrexone. Studies show that it increases the level of your endorphins and has very few side effects.

There are a few suggestions I have. Ask about naltrexone. Melatonin to help you sleep. Benadryl helps calm the itchy, skin crawling side effects. Naproxen also helps. I have been using a product called pain freeze from Hemp Bombs. It is wonderful. I broke my wrist a little over a year, it bothers me alot. This stuff took all the swelling out of my hands and keeps the pain at a 2. I also use it on my hips which has arthritis and it has calmed it down enough for me to be able to stand and walk without the stiffness. I use it where ever I have pain. I also found it helps heal your bruises faster. My daughter put me on to it. It's pricey but worth it. They carry other products like the oils. I bought some Cbd oil locally and I got a worthless bottle. I kept saying to my daughter how come you get relief and I don't. She explained there are companies that don't have quality products and I apparently got one that takes advantage of people who are in pain. I have other ideas and supplements that you can take that will help your body. Just let me know what else you want to know. Hope your having a somewhat pain free day.
