Liquid Sound Near Back Of Head/neck? Am I Alone?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’m the only one that can hear this. It’s sometimes sounds like Pop Rocks or Rice Crispy cereal. Other times it’s like a liquid noise that I can even feel. It’s like my nerves are under attack, and my body is hyper sensitive to everything. I’ve nevee heard of this in Fibro...

I was told by a chiropractor that the liquid cracking noise is inflammation

More than likely it's something called crepitus. It's a descriptive word that is used when the joints make that crackling, sometimes it's like a grinding of fine sand sound. Happens in the cervical vertebrae and can sound as if it's coming from your brain. Of course, check with your doctor.

Not sure about the water sound - maybe the tinnitis.

Yes i get snap crackling popping in back of my neck, have osteo arthritis there but it may well be both that and the fibro that causes it - if i press on the area it crunches and pops
