Is There A Particular Style Of Yoga That Has Helped Anyone Here?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I need a stretching type class because I'm so bad at doing things to help my situation at home. My thigh muscles are much tighter than any others and it causes my knee caps to pull up. I have trouble with lounges and various other positions but when I stretch it helps.

I'm Having Horrible Neck Pain With Severe Limited Range Of Motion. Any Suggestions For Relief?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I began getting a sore neck about three weeks ago it has since become unbearable. I'm not currently on any fibro meds and am really struggling with this. The pain is now causing headaches and anxiety issues. It feels as though my neck is swollen. I have been under a ton of stress so I'm not surprised I'm flaring! It's difficult to turn my head! Has anyone else ever experienced this and what did you do to ease the symptoms?

Sense Of Uneasiness
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am not sure if this a new or old symptom as I am usually more focused on the pain part of fibro, but does anyone feel a sort of sense of uneasiness or doom or sadness briefly before a flare happens? It started last night and I can’t shake it, it’s not dire but I am trying to prevent it from going into a full blown panic. We have some crappy weather coming in a few days and I am thinking it has something to do with that and the pain that is coming. I am also getting over the stomach flu and… read more

Solutions For Burning Mouth? TMJ?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I know this question got asked over a year ago, but I just want to re-flag it. Anyone else experience burning mouth pain from Fibro? Physical therapy has helped me a decent amount (by jumpstarting the nerves with a machine called an "Acuscope") but I am curious what others have done. I've had it for 7 months now and it is the worst pain I've ever felt. I don't take medications other than supplements so I know it's not a side effect. Any help would be appreciated!

Is There Any Medication Used For The Knots We Get?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have constant knots and I have to use a massager to constantly work them out from head to toe. My muscle relaxers don't seem to work for this and I take them every 4 hours. This very much runs my days and makes me exhausted and I can't massage them every day it's just too exhausting.

Irregular Pulse
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

One month ago i saw my Dr about an irregular pulse.I had blood tests and ECG which was normal. It happens or is more noticeable when i go to bed.I just wondered if this is a problem with other Fibro sufferers and if it could be related to stress.Sometimes I feel my heart jumping in my chest.Dr said it was nothing to worry about but as it is a recent problem i would like to know your opinion.
many thanks

Does Anyone Get A Burning Headache But It Is Only On The Centre Of The Top Of Your Head ?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I ask because I have been having a burning sensation on the top of my head which is quite painful. It is as if a hot coal has been placed in that position. Ice pack dulls it a bit but it is not enough relieve. If anyone has the same please let me know what helps but most importantly does it happen normally with fibromyalgia? thanks
