I dont think I was specific enough in my question. I’ve slept on all kinds, & decided I want a memory foam type- not a bed topper. Forget the price & just hit me with the types/brands of matresses u have found best for FM. Please. I need sleep but waking up is so painful no matter how long/short.

Members shared a wide range of mattress recommendations for fibromyalgia pain relief, with Tempur-Pedic and Sleep Number receiving the most enthusiastic endorsements for their pressure-relieving qualities and adjustable firmness, though many noted that even the best mattress doesn't eliminate pain entirely. Several members emphasized the importance of buying from retailers with return policies since fibromyalgia affects everyone differently, and what works for one person may not work for another. A recurring theme was combining the right mattress with supportive pillows, adjustable bed frames, and other sleep aids to create the most comfortable setup possible within budget constraints.

I swear by my Tempur-pedic!!!! Yes I still have pain, but you also get the best rest one in our situation can get. Nothing falls asleep, I feel no pressure points.I wake up and it's usually a good hour or two that I realize I'm without pain!!!! I have excruciating back pain, unfortunately it comes back but to wake up and be able to shower, make bed, coffee, feed the pets, and catch up on-line before I even acknowledge my pain is a god send. Definitely worth the cost ;)

There also are the firm matresses. Im not sure if they would help. Sometimes I think my bed is way too soft. But its all up to the individual. There sleep number and tempurpedic.

I have a memory foam bed with a 4 inch topper. The frame is like a adjustable for your upper body and legs. I have tried so many different beds and pillows hoping they would help with the pain and insomnia. So far really none really work. Try Natrol Melationin 5mg or 10 mg fast dissolve. They are not too expensive you can also get ones to swallow. But I think the ones that dissolve work better. Chamomile Tea or sleepy time tea should also help. Good luck. Gentle hugs.

I would go with the Sleep Number and get the best one you can afford. You can adjust the firmness. It's the only one I know of you can do that.
