I believe it's when you give people your email address with the intent to sell them some product when they contact you is what's not allowed. It's in the rules and regulations to use the site.
If you just mention a product you use that helps you as information to benefit others with no personal gain then it's not an issue.
I could be totally wrong but that's how I understood it.
Hope there is some type of leeway for first offenders and the person is allowed to return with say a warning.
I do know we are not allowed to use the forum to sell anything.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I also have mentioned which cbd oil I take on here, I see no harm in that since we all want to know what others take to help ease our symptoms.
I just wonder if there is more to the story than you may know. Was she trying to sell cbd oil? Of course the MFT cannot disclose the true reasons to us, but I find it hard to believe it was only about offering to discuss her cbd privately & off site, unless she is selling it, or trying to get people's email addresses.... you never know. I hope you are right that she is just innocent. God bless.
