Hi everybody I just want to ask as anybody been dynnosed by a consultant for there condition.
Then refer back to your local Doctor to manage your pain?
If so have you been question by ESA medical assessment if you are still under care from consultants.
And if not why and GP does not count managing your care?
I just saw a rheumatologist and he referred me back to my primary Doctor. Said she knew my overall health better and would be a better support doctor. My PCP is very much into natural treatment for fibro and feels that the meds are a last resort. I am using diet (gluten, sugar, lactose, and caffeine free), excercise (stretching, toning, yoga), and massage (ever 2 weeks with a medical massage therapist NOT one from any of the massage chains). So far it has helped me keep the pain under control.
Yes me by rheumatologist ho diagnosed me..useless my GP admitted none of the drugs work because they are merely a form of antidepressant and so they have no cure.
My Perrin treatment explains the cause. Dr Raymond Perrin. It's not a quick fix and is weekly massage with self help but it's working. He s on YouTube and he has no merous osteopath s who he s trained in his treatment. Throughout uk x
No but i would call the insurance company and find out what is what , and if you do not like your DR ,report them and try to get another DR ! love peace and smooches pooches
Yes, rheumatologist. Prof. Morgan at St James's Hospital in Leeds. She was absolutely brilliant. Had it sussed within 30 minutes of talking to me. Unfortunately there was little she could do at that point and I was referred back to GPs - about as useful as The Muppet Show! To be fair, I react to most drugs, so it's really difficult for them to prescribe anything. Only thing that helps with my muscle spasms is diazepam and they won't let me have it. Even though I will only use it when I'm virtually incapacitated as I don't like how spaced out I feel when taking even half a 5mg tab. Benefits are a real minefield. I hope you get sorted soon. x
Look up Perrin technique. On YouTube
