I know my love but wots the alternative? I came off Pregablin for same reason- side effects. Actually, i dont know how long ill be able to tolerate the dose, but im one of those nightmare people who wake up thro anaesthetcis n need far much more than ordinary person to put me out.i seem to tolerate it well. I cant bear the pain - i recently tried it- came off most meds. Ooo! No way can i cope without pain relief.

Something i’ve Been told is that people with fibromyalgia have a medication intolerance- I am on Effexor and reacted to 37.5 for my first year, 1 year later I upped it to 75 and 3 years after I started taking it I’m at 150mg. So I try to start low on my meds because I have an intolerance to the strength. We also have a lot of medication sensitivities, so maybe try the gabapenten at a lower dose? I’m not sure

There are other pain meds than Gaba/nurontin. People can try different meds.

Lairelmariemann,thats dreadful!!!I know how you feel,I have had 3 drs put on my file never to be given natcotics,all because I was in such pain for sooo long,I asked for endone,as I know it takes away all my pain.Now its on file forever.Treated like a drug seekingvaddict.Realy cuts.
