Muscle pain has always been one aspect of my Fibro symptoms. The past 6 months its also started to make my legs feel like ive done a full leg workout at the gym, after only walking a few yards. Worse on sloping ground. Anyone had or get the same? I've started to use a walking stick which is helpful.

@A MyFibroTeam Member, I believe this is what's called Lactic Acid build up. You know the same feeling you get after running or exercising and you walk it out, only with fibromites it doesn't get walked out. It just continues to feel like a burn and legs turn into rubber. The more I exercise the weaker I get. No one can understand this phenomenon except people like us!
This kind of pain is a way of life for me. From my experience, Fibromyalgia is not like other diseases in that more exercise is not better. I exercise as much as my body allows and I know what my limits are. There are times when I can not make it through a grocery shopping trip because of muscle weakness and pain. There are days when I have to use a handicap shopping cart, days when I can walk on my own, and days when I have to use a cane. I wish I could provide a resolution or at least a more positive answer for you.
I just chill when i am like that and really rest up and sleep and relax and it helps . maybe its the bodies way of saying u have over done things and u need to rest and i will make u rest who knows its just my thoughts
I've had this every other day now for 3 years
