I've had Fibromyalgia for many, many years, and have had many strange things happen that fall within the symptoms for Fibromyalgia. But in the last couple of months, I have had two instances now where my face suddenly tightened up to the point of numbness, got totally red, then the rest of my body followed suit. My skin literally felt like it was burning from the inside out and hurt so bad to touch it, even where my clothes were touching me. Both instances lasted about 1-2 hours, then slowly… read more

I experienced this for the first time in 2009. I thought there was something terribly wrong. My doctor explained it was my Fibromyalgia progressing and that it was typical. I was shocked and frustrated. I didn't think my Fibromyalgia could get worse than it already was. Since then I have had several other symptoms added to the list that again have been explained away by my Fibromyalgia. I don't get it. How does the medical field know all the symptoms related to Fibromyalgia but have no help on curing or controling it? Hope you get some relief and real answers soon.

Gentle hugs.
Maria

I had a hysterectomy 20 years ago, so I doubt it's the beginning of menopause. I really don't know much about CRPS. Will have to check that out. Thanks.

Could be the beginning of menopause as I’ve had it for twenty years and it changed forms many times. I work with someone who has symptoms similar to what you describe and she had CRPS. chronic regional pain syndrome.
