Changes In Hair

My hair has always been thin and has been falling out for a while. Now ive noticed it doesnt even feel or look the same. Does anyone else struggle with this?

@A MyFibroTeam Member I too have thin hair that seems to keep falling out. I have learned and read that it can be a symptom of both fibromyalgia and thyroid issues. Have you had your thyroid checked? I have hypothyroidism which means my thyroid does not produce enough TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) without medication. I hope that this helps and if you have had it checked I hope it was normal!!!

I have has my thyroid checked and its fine… only being 23 this comcerns me

My hair has got thicker. But, my hair falls out so much I went to docs. They told me to go ask a hair dresser

My hair has always been thick and full. I am now experiencing thinning of hair commonly known as male pattern baldness. If you think it’s embarrassing for men, think of the humiliation for a woman. My Dr. told me he had the same problem and was taking Biotin. I had to laugh.

Really mess up. I had Hashimotos thyroiditis. Had the whole thing removed 5 years ago. Now its just going white, but not so crazy
