Members connected over the shared experience of lower back pain with leg weakness, describing symptoms ranging from difficulty lifting feet and shuffling gait to complete inability to walk, numbness, tingling, and feeling like concrete fills the pelvic area. Several members shared that their mobility challenges stemmed from overlapping conditions including fibromyalgia, spinal stenosis, osteoarthritis in the knees, and nerve damage, with helpful strategies including stationary bikes for low-impact exercise, cortisone shots for knee pain, gabapentin and tramadol for nerve pain, prescription-strength lidocaine cream, chiropractic care, and deep tissue massage. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of losing independence and the deep comfort found in finally connecting with others who truly understand the daily unpredictability of pain.

Yes, I have osteoarthritis in my knees which makes it difficult to walk for too.long and lower back problems. I use a stationary bike because it's one way to get aerobic exercise without putting a load on my knees and that helps a lot.

Hi Berly, I am so happy you had a productive day! ☺️☺️I wish I could garden. Do you have flowers or veges or both? Do you have to mow the lawn?Today is a horrible pain day for me. My muscles ache really bad all over. I have been feeling like this for the past few days. Thunderstorms are coming. Once it begins to rain and the barometric pressure changes I should be better. I am laying in bed for now. My boyfriend of twenty years wanted me to look at a couch with him yesterday. I use to live with him for 15 years but I moved out of his house to be close to my aging mom and because I couldn't do things like I use to... cook, clean, and etc. He thinks I moved out mainly to help my mom. But when I come too see him... like every other week I sometimes sleep on the couch. I sleep more soundly on a couch than a bed! I told him right away I was having alot pain. Luckily the couch was displayed right when you come into the store. I laid on it and wanted to go to 😴 sleep. We went to a Chinese place for lunch and I left his house about 11 pm. I woke up at 9 am to see the news station showing the Royal Wedding. It looked perfect! Hope you are having another great day!

Hi Debbie sure I will love to be on your team, I have been diagnosed about two months ago after six year of not knowing and going through all different test. Just started on gabapentin for the pain and a muscle relaxer. How r u feeling today?
