I'm at the point I need to use a cane or better yet a walking stick to walk my dog. When shopping must find the shortest routes or use a cart to keep me mobile. Do hit a wall some days where can't make dinner because of too much walking that day. Leg muscles just feels like I have run a marathon and have no use left in them. This all started in a much milder form 8 years ago and was told I had FM around the same time.

Walking, standing, sitting all seems to be shorter and shorter time frames
Yes, i had ME for 20 years prior to fibro and had trouble walking then but not as i do now....the pain, the stiffness.....
I had a professional say to me yesterday that movement is necessary and i agree, but it is impossible when, like you say, you cant move anymore..
Something i have found helpful recently is going on a keto diet....really low carbs, (apparently carbs have an inflammatory effect on the system_), its quite a tough diet as we are taught to eat grains etc and avoid fats and keto is the absolute opposite but i watched oodles of youtube stuff on it and lots of people have had all sorts of diseases reversed on it so i think why not try it, maybe it will help....
Will keep you posted....Good luck in finding a way through....
Gentle hug.

Some days yes....... just do what you can, stop when you need to.
I used to walk my dog twice a day and I mean long walks and I loved it!! I had to put him down two years ago and want another so bad but I’m afraid my health has deteriorated so much that I won’t be able to walk! It’s a catch twenty-two!! I think if I get into walking again I’ll feel better but I’m so afraid because I’m really not sure if I can walk now! It was my favourite pass time so I get so depressed just thinking of it!!
