Wooshing In The Head?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anybody have a wooshing in their head on moving it? don't know how else to describe it. when either moving myhead or standing up i seem to get a weird feeling like air is running through my head but not every time. Can't really describe it any other way than a wooshing feeling, it starts with sound in the ear then spreads to the head.

I have tinnitus which can come out of nowhere and last for months at a time. I get the whoosing feeling in my ear (sounds like it is in my head, and a tinkering noise in my other ear. It causes major balance issues. Finding an ENT that specializes in this will help you if it is indeed tinnitus. Lots of us here have it

I have it too sometimes. It's usually accompanied by massive throbbing in my head and momentary loss of vision. I hope you have a good day!

When I lie down, I will sometimes get a rhythmic wooshing that will get quite loud. It's happening now. I know the sound is corresponding to my pulse, but I have no idea why it literally wooshes ( great description) and gets very loud then fades then gets loud again. I do have a minor aortic valve problem, but this sound has come and gone for years.

My husband had similar problems, turned out to be a blood vessel problem in the brain. You may want to consult with a neurologist just to be on the safe side.

The link below is very informative, might help.

Along with so many others on this site, I have tinnitus. It changes in description - most often it is at a steady moderately annoying ringing with a tin-like quality. At times it goes into what I call a whirring noise that over shadows the tin can ringing - ringing is still there, just not as prominent as the deeper whirring. There seems to be a sensation of fullness in my head/ears, as well. Difficult to describe sounds, but ear trouble seems to be fairly pervasive in this group.
