as I read all of the above I am struck by how different and yet alike we all are. Each one of us in unique in how we react to medications, pain etc. Fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139) I have a rheumo tell me that my pain is from nerve damage and is neurological which makes sense as gaba works great for me.

When I took gabapentin, I couldn't function at all. I have deep pain in my arms quite a lot, my doc said it's due to tension in my neck and shoulders. Gentle stretching as you wake can help, and throughout the day.

I've heard this can happen. You might want to mention it to your doctor. He might want you to switch to something more suitable.

Gabapentin works abit for me too. I'm familiar with psalms 139 too. We need to have Christ's mind as is being discussed tomorrow . Think you will know what i mean. Natalie

wow, I guess I do have more nerve pain than muscle even though I do have the tender points familiar with FM.........here is a funny, my arms don't always hurt but I have the "bat wings" so maybe that protects me.........ROFL,...LOL, well I thought it was funny. hugs to all
