I was also told by my lawyer for the car accident that I can get disability for fibromyalgia and for spinal cord injury each and I have both. But I don't understand how you can be out of work for year 2 for poor you do that what am I supposed to do in the meantime? First of all : I love my job! and my husband and I need the benefits! πππΌ
There are plenty of supplements for us to take! And you'll be taking more pills! a lot of us are low on minerals.... so I've been taking calcium, magnesium, tumeric, potassium, probiotics, Vit D drops,Vit B6+12 Omega3, all kinds of stuff! From listening to my fibro friends!- taking them the right now with my yogurt! Also I just started with a new chiropractor that's also a kinesthesiologist and he helped adjust what I'm taking and added a probiotic -he said everyone should be taking those. I also tell my physician every supplement I'm taking and she tests my blood every 3 to 4 months and she tells me what to adjust she's the one that's told me I was low on potassium and I eat a banana every morning and drink orange juice! Maybe part of fibro is that we lack some minerals, I don't really know for sure..... I've just been Gathering up information over the years on this site and discussing it with my doctor who agrees. That's the scoop for now. Time to start another day-I hope yours is a good one! πππΌππ
I receive SSI disability for my fibro. I think it varies in different states/countries. I live in California, USA B careful when adding natural supplements when also taking prescription meds - some can have adverse reactions. I know St Johns Wort is one of them. Its best to ask the pharmacy about interactions when adding anytype of med - otc, natural, or rx.
I take vitamins and use medical marijuana. Those together have helped me to be able to function daily, working about 55-60 hours a week.
Yes, I (Email address can only be seen by the question and answer creators) of these minerals and vitamins are all well and good but I don't see me reducing my meds.... but I don't see me increasing them, either! πππΌ
