I have done a sleep apnea test at home and the result was 17 sleep apneas in 7 hours. Now my dr recommends a sleep study done in a hospital even though I wake feeling rested most of the time upon awaking.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I am interested to see what it holds my biggest task right now is losing some weight. And as we know meds have the tendency to cause weight gain. So my focus right now is getting my weight down. I have surgery on June 1st for a deviated septum which the doctor said will help alot with my sleeping. Thank you for the warm wishes God Bless.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I have severe apnea as well I stop breathing 32 times in an hour. I spoke with a new dr yesterday about getting Inspire which is an implanted device. I am interested in trying it.
I was diagnosed recently and i was stopping breathing up to 64 times an hour so i was in the severe level. I got a cpap with humidifier and its dropped to around five times an hour so thats good.
@A MyFibroTeam Member that therapy sounds amazing but my sleep apnea is brain related not obstructive so sadly it would be of no use to me. Thank you for thoughtfully thinking of me it was really enlightening reading of the relief the procedure has given, once again i really hope this treatment gives you a new eager and positive outlook and i hope it helps your other health issues as well. I hope you have a lovely week and thank you again.
@A MyFibroTeam Member i have got a stronger hemp oil and its helping my sleep. I just got a new ortho bed and mattress so im sure that will also help, i loved my old bed it was so comfy but was eight years old so time for a new one. My pain level is high as i keep trying to do things and keep flaring and do it again as im fed up sitting around like a pensioner. I am so pleased for your positivity in getting a proper sleep i hope you feel great. God bless and keep me updated on your progress and i will check out the link, thankyou.
