Members confirmed that the tingling, twitchy sensations described sound like restless leg syndrome, a common symptom in fibromyalgia that often worsens in the evening and makes sleep difficult. Several members shared helpful remedies including magnesium supplements (typically 400-500 mg daily), tonic water with quinine for instant relief, hot baths with Epsom salt, leg massages with moisturizer, and prescription medications like ropinirole or over-the-counter Hyland's products. A recurring theme was the frustration of managing multiple fibromyalgia symptoms simultaneously, including memory problems, body jerks, widespread aching, and the sense that their bodies are signaling incorrectly, with many finding comfort in knowing others share these experiences.

I take a hot bath with Epsom salt to ease the pain, Sometimes, I wake with the pain and I'm in the tub in the middle of the night. I like this new liquid Epsom salt with Spearmint and Eucalyptus that has a relaxing smell. I order Dr. Teals from Amazon. I'm sure there are others similar products, but so far I like this one and it helps removing the toxins. But would like to find one that's a little cheaper. You don't worry about granules from regular Epsom salt especially if you use a jetted tub that stop up the jets.

Yes a form of it. Fibro is your brain sending wrong signals to the nerves that lead to the muscles. It is also a gut disease. You need a muscle relaxer, or sit in a tub of Very warm water with Epsom salt. This will ease your legs & make you sleep easier.

Do you guys get achy legs like they just ache from top to bottom?

It does seem like you have it. I don't have it all the the time, but when I do, I sit on the side of my bed, slather moisturizer all over my feet and legs and massage them. It's painful to do, but I'm used to pain now, so I just do it. After doing this, my legs calm down..For the most extreme pain, I sit on a shower chair in the tub and soak my legs in hot, hot water for 20 minutes.

I always thought it was because i was tired and the pains ive had in my legs, knees, elbows, arms etc were normal until now. Just kept getting told there was nothing wrong with me so thought it was the norm.
