Members shared a wide variety of approaches to managing fibromyalgia symptoms, with many using a combination of prescription medications like Cymbalta, Lyrica, gabapentin, and amitriptyline alongside supplements such as vitamin D, magnesium, and B12. Several members described finding significant relief through cannabis products, particularly high-THC strains for sleep and CBD for pain, after traditional medications failed to help. A recurring theme was the deeply personal nature of fibromyalgia treatment, with members emphasizing that what works varies greatly from person to person and often requires trial and error to find the right combination.

I strictly use cannabis now. Before I used every pain med, anxiety or depression med, migraine prevention med there was. Nothing worked until CBD +THC

@A MyFibroTeam Member, please don't feel bad. I take several more medications than you do, probably because I have bipolar depression and over the years the psychiatrists threw a ton of anti-depressants, mood stabilizers, and tranquilizers at me to get me to my now sunny disposition. Actually, I credit the latter to God's intervention. The rest of my meds go for lots of medical problems. Only 2 go for pain, Lyrica and Celebrex..and then there are the supplements. I have to carry a list with me, because I can't recall it offhand.
