Yes i have had it several times. I went to the er with it afraid i was hanving a heartattack. They did xrays and tests and said it was costochondritis. Apparently it is another symptom of fibro. If it continues or gets worse then you should see your doctor. It probably is costo but better safe then sorry. I use heat or ice and take ibuprofen which is an anti inflamatory when mine flares up. Thst is about all that helps it. Sorry you are hurting so bad. Hugs

I thought I was having a heart attack but it was my Fibro. It is annoying but it won't kill you. Just get in a position and hold still until it goes away. It usually does not last very long.

Oh yes, whenever I have a flare, this is the area where it starts. It hurts to breathe and the pain can become severe. I've had this symptom for so many years, it's my "normal".
