I woke up from a nap 10 years ago, and I could not stand. My body had no feeling from my waist down. I cried for a long time. It lasted for at least 30 minutes. Scared the crap out of me.

Thank you all for your candid answers. I don't feel like I'm going crazy anymore. It only happened that one time, but it was scary. I'll be sure to tell my neurologist about it anyway. You all are just awesome. Hugs xx
@A MyFibroTeam Member I'm so sorry. Have you been tested for MS? When I have MS attacks my left side of my face and throat go temporarily numb including my lips and tongue. Those attacks last anywhere from a few minutes to up to 4 hours. They are temporary though. Some people with MS have attacks in other parts of their body. Mine just happens to hit my face & throat. I know there are several people on this site that have both fibro and MS like myself. You may want to see a neurologist. It is indeed scary when I have those attacks. Like @A MyFibroTeam Member said, you should notify your regular doctor first though and as soon as possible.
Get it often will louse the ability to walk, use a arm, or just a leg. Its a weekly issue for me.
I have had my hands freeze up to where I could not hold a toothbrush and lost feeling in my legs while driving. It only lasted for a moment, but was scary. Never had my whole body freeze up at once.
That does sound scary, you poor girl. No, I haven't personally had this. But, they do say that is a side effect of some medications...temporary paralysis. Did you tell your doctor? Sending hugs 💜
