I'm new to Fibromyalgia. I have been I tremendous pain and fatigue now for about 8 weeks. My doctor first thought MS but no lessons so now thinking fibro. Thank you so much, I'm sorry you were so young when you were dealing with this. I have had chronic back pain since an injury at 19, that was bad enough. I can't imagine dealing with this constant pain during my 30, 40s. :( I'm hopeful this will subside but it's been at least 8 weeks and it's only increased. Well I'll do what I can, what more can we do. Thanks again for sharing, it's really helpful.
I had to give up work as well. I did some volunteering for a while because I just couldn't accept in my 30's (some 3 decades ago) that I couldn't do what "I normally" could. Some people with less severe symptoms keep on working, but that was not the case for me, unfortunately.
oh bless you somtimes we have to dslow down and put yourself first.gentle hugs jan.x
Thank you for this information. If this truly ends up being my dx (still waiting on neurologist to rule it a couple more things) I'm afraid I will have to make some big changes as well. After reading experiences on here the last couple days it's making more and more sense and fits everything I've been dealing with. I've lived a busy, self sufficient, stressful, full time mother, caregiver for family and worker for 30 years. I've never slowed down long enough to focus on myself although I've tried to stay healthy. I'm not sure I'm even going to know where to begin. I really appreciate having this forum for questions and support. Thank you.
