Does anyone get Burning Mouth Syndrome? Along with mouth and jaw pain, I am experiencing a terrible burning sensation inside my entire mouth. I have been checked by doctors and dentists who all say that my mouth looks "normal"! It is extremely painful and I cannot figure out why it is happening. Does anyone else experience this? Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.
Im having some type of weird tingling/metallicy tasting oddness in my mouth. It’s mild but certainly noticeable. When i chew gum or keep my mouth moving it goes away. It’s when my tongue is at rest that it’s most noticeable.
Yes, I have had Burning Mouth Syndrome for many years. And yes, doctors and dentists can’t see anything that causes the problem. Sometimes it feels like several knives cutting into the mouth tissues all at once. For me, eating very spicy food tends to calm it down temporarily.
Yes!!! No one understands but it’s very painful! Like I’m chewing on glass! I have figured out different food triggers. But then I eat it again and it doesn’t happen. Jam is one trigger. It’s a terrible feeling!
