Im already on alot of meds morphine oxycodone flexerell and others. I wasnt sure if anyone had any luck with Lyrica? Or any bad luck?
I had an awesome doctor that ran the tests to find out what vitamins, minerals, and amino acids I was lacking or were low and we started with those and slowly created a personalized treatment protocol just for me
I take 300mg Lyrica every night and it has been the only medication, besides Cymbalta, which I also have every night, that has helped me. Occasionally I have had to go a night without my Lyrica cause I hadn't realised that I had run out and on those nights, I really notice how much Lyrica helps my pain. Without out Lyrica, I don't sleep and my pain gets that bad, I start feeling sick.
Hi
I was put on pregabaline, also Gabapentin.
at first pregabaline work for awhile but later did not touch the sides.
So they prescribed me with Gabapentin!!!! Also that was the same result as the pregabaline!!!
everyone is different you can only try what may not be good for me may be some good effect to you.
Good luck.
When I was first diagnosed in 2015 (sick since 2012), Kaiser in California signed me up for a class about Fibromyalgia. The teacher was a Doctor, but then a Rhumatologist spoke for awhile. He told us that he didn’t feel that @Lyrica was a worth while drug, that it may help some, but that the possible side effects aren’t worth it. If some one reads this that it’s helping, I’m glad it works for you, I’m just responding to a question with a comment from a specialist, I apologize.
I myself have have stayed away from all medications because I’m afraid of side effects. I’d be on 6 different meds otherwise. I use only cannibus for pain, nausea, restless legs, insomnia, depression... I just wanted to know what I am feeling and not wonder, side effect? or Fibromyalgia?
