Cold Sensation Inside Of My Head
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

So i was laying in bed and started to get heart palpitations. Then i got a pressure feeling over my right eye, then inside of the back of my head on the left side got super cold inside. Its the weirdest thing that i have ever felt and its still happening right now. Have any of you experienced this ever??

@A MyFibroTeam Member. i am glad you are better today. I know it is very hard for me to go to the hospital too. Please at least call your primary tomorrow. It could be a mini stroke and sometimes they come before a full blown stroke. Sorry to scare you but ive been dealing with my uncle having them for a year. Hugs

I get heart palpitations sometimes and I think it's caused from my thyroid. I have hypothyroidism. Maybe you have trouble with your thyroid. You should get a blood test to see. When I get a palpitation I take a deep breath and let my breath out slowly and it helps. I also can help it by taking my hand and having it go down the front of me without touching me. By pushing my hand down like that I seem to get myself to relax and it stops doing that and is OK. I know it sounds strange but it works for me. Sometimes I can get that when I get too hot. You having pressure feeling over your eye doesn't sound good. it sounds like your blood pressure is up. Do you have high blood pressure: Getting cold around your head seems to be a sign of poor circulation so yes I think you need to go to the doctor and get checked out. There could be something wrong with your blood pressure maybe you are having trouble with your heart. But anything can cause that, it sounds like a problem with circulation. Sometimes if my neck get's really tight I get feelings of not feeling good and it's like the blood can't get up to my head. If I can stretch my neck and shoulders it improves it. So maybe it has something to do with tight muscles.

Those are strange symptoms. Having heart palpatations can be nothing serious but if it is new to you and having other strange sensations in your head, i believe you should go to er and get checked out. I know it is hard going to er and they find nothing wrong but i would rather you do that then have something serious and not go. I have an irregular heartbeat that i have had for 25 years and it causes palpitations. I go to cardiologist every 6 months but he says it is nothing to worry about. He just wants to keep an eye on it. I hope yours in nothing but please go make sure. Let us know what they say. Hugs
