Body Shaking / Tingling After Overdoing It?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi all! I got dxed in Sept and I’m still trying to figure my body out. I’ve been finding that when I over do it, I get this overall body shaking / tingling after over doing it (walking a lot, working out) — almost like what you get when you’re have full body flu symptoms. Is that a normal reaction? I have just been taking it as whoa - slow down, you’re about to get a flare up. Do other people get this? It isn’t painful, it’s just an odd full body sensation.

It happens to me too especially with my arms and hands. Muscles are tired.
Scary but resolves after rest.

Yes that does happen. But after awhile you get to know when to slow down and rest. Or your next thing you know your body feels like it's in hell. I find sleeping with a heating blanket at night helps. This changes your whole life.

My fibromyalgia feels like aches and pains, just like the flu sometimes episodes are more severe like fever, hurt everywhere. I don't get shaking tho.

Yes always for me. Just comes out of the blue sometimes. Like all of a sudden I have to stop, sit down and say wow!! What just happened.... It hits everyone differently . For me it feels like I over exersied, feeling like you are coming down with something or being hit by a truck. Depends on the flare because weather changes affect me different then stress or just doing to much
