I have had fibromyalgia the last two times I was pregnant, it isn't easy but doctors were usually more understanding towards me. I had hyperemesis for all 3 of my pregnancies so it was pretty rough. I went off almost all my meds before giving birth and stayed off while breastfeeding for a little over 6 months when the pain forced me to stop. I had an epidural all 3 times, however they didn't work as well as they had the first time. Everyone's different but I wouldn't do it without an epidural because for me the two when I had fibromyalgia were very painful even after the epidural.

My pregnancies were before my diagnosis. I was given epidurals, but they didn’t fully take. I had very difficult deliveries. But I look at my kids (now grown) and I know it was all worth while.
