I got my pip by taking evidence and just by being honest, i took an itemised list of medication all hospital appointment letters and correspondence and paid for a letter from my doctor. I also took a diary of daily issues my illness creates. I also had a representative from my local council advising me from day one. I hope this helps and good luck.

The hard part is over. Getting all medical paperwork from all of the doctors is the hard part. When you go in front of the judge, It is just the judge, stenographer, your lawyer and you. The judge just asks you questions and goes over your paperwork. It is not as scary as you think. Your lawyer should meet with you a little before you go in front of the judge. If you have any questions, write them down now so you can ask the lawyer when you see them. I know I have to write things down or I won't remember them. Good luck. hugs

Well it definately will help to have a lawyer. I don't know how old you are, but I've heard if you are over 50 it's easier to get. I wish you all the best.

I have for bulging discs in my neck I had three of them replaced and need to have one more done that's what started the whole fibromyalgia diagnosis cuz I'm in constant pain. As far as the lawyer goes I don't know anything about him we've not really sat down and talked except for the first consult.
