My family and I go to Florida ever year for a week. We live in the Midwest. I find that as long as the weather is good while we are in florida I have much less pain and bad days. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced that?

Members strongly agreed that climate and weather significantly impact their pain levels, with most finding that warm, stable weather reduces symptoms while cold temperatures and barometric pressure changes trigger flares. Several members shared that dropping barometric pressure before storms can cause severe pain within minutes, with some describing their bodies physically reacting to cold by cramping or drawing up, while others mentioned that humidity, temperature swings, and altitude changes during travel can all worsen symptoms or trigger migraines. A recurring theme was that most members tolerate heat better than cold, though a few experience the opposite, with some choosing to relocate seasonally to warmer climates like Florida, Phoenix, or Arizona to manage their condition more comfortably.

Same here. It is always the worst when a storm is rolling in, any huge change to the barometric pressure sets me off. I tolerate hot much better than cold as far as flares are concerned.

I'm exactly the same way. I can be feeling fine and a storm starts coming and I'm in a severe flare up in minutes. Right now I'm fightingbrhis bitter cold weather. I'm so very tired and all I've been doing is sleeping. I can't even manage to clean up my house or do any laundry. I can't miss any more work but I'm not sure how I'm going to do it. I wonder how people in Arizona do with this disease. No humidity or extremely cold weather might be ideal.

Yes I live in Phoenix n have family in Michigan n no longer go in the winter cause I’m mMiserable the whole time I’m there. So now I go in the summer it’s beautiful in the summer. Even know I live in Phoenix our winters do you get cold probably because were used to our summers been so hot so the winters I do notice a pain be more severe the heat seems to help the body with pain

I would think Arizona would be good but what gets me is dropping barometric pressure. I’m sure they have that as well
