@Dinnie @A MyFibroTeam Member - I don' t know of any doctors in your area but would suggest you check to see if you have a Pain Management Center. That is all hey deal in - - managing pain. It has been a blessing in my life. I was given a Pain Patch to wear for 6 days and then change it on day 7. I was also given medication for pain - - which I do not have to take because the patch takes care of the pain.

On many fibro boards Its not a strange occurance or unheard of outside of iowa unfortunately its everywhere. LOL i could give you a list a mile along of those who don't think fibro is a disease just in cr area and u of i network. Really the other day i was thinking that they should get a specialty specifically for fibro but they would have to include immonologist endos and a few others to address the other underlying issues

You know what?? These providers are going against their hippocratic oath of doing no harm!! These people are causing tremendous harm to those of us dealing with fibro, any and all chronic illness, Fibro is recognized by mayo clinic for pete sakes!!
Maybe we need a non-believing list here to help prevent one of us from seeing that person... I sure would of saved myself alot of grief over that horrible rheumatologist in CR, and a couple others just off the top of my head... oh this really makes me mad!!
