yes, my tongue also goes numb and burns, but it is in the middle of my tongue, asked my doctor about this and Doc said nothing wrong with my tongue....then why does it go numb and burn? also dry mouth... and I only use tylenol and ibuprofen a couple times a week as I have ringing in my ears and meds makes ringing louder...so I just suffer through it as best I can...

It could also be that your tongue is swelling making it go numb. One of the side effects of Fibro is the swelling in the body.

I just got a blood test 2days ago (so no results yet) for Sjogren’s Syndrome. It’s an autoimmune disorder with these same issues.
