Members responded to a question about IMC-1, an antiviral drug being studied for fibromyalgia, with curiosity but limited personal experience from clinical trials. Several members shared that their doctors believe fibromyalgia may have a viral origin, while one member mentioned frequent Epstein-Barr virus reactivation and a personal theory that fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue may be symptoms of deeper underlying illnesses. A recurring theme was openness to exploring any treatment offering hope for relief, with one member recommending acupuncture as a tool for managing nerve pain and mobility issues.
