How Has Fibromyalgia Affected Your Memory? How Do You Deal With It?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Over the years I've noticed that it's gotten difficult to recall things. Recently I've been getting burns in the kitchen because I forgot a lot was hot or other things like that. When my kids come to me with homework I have difficulty helping them. I haven't been able to get treatment for my fibromyalgia. How bad will it get?

It get much worse. i use to have a pretty good memory, not anymore. One episode that scared the hell out of me was the day that i tried to remember my mother in law last name, can you believe it? I went almost crazy

Some days I'm fine, other days I feel like my head is just full of sawdust. I forget words, dates, appointments, names. I think it is the worst thing about Fibro.

I have a lot of trouble with my memory and with concentration. I get especially mixed up and have a hard time pulling the right word out when I have a flare
