How Has Fibromyalgia Affected Your Memory? How Do You Deal With It?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Over the years I've noticed that it's gotten difficult to recall things. Recently I've been getting burns in the kitchen because I forgot a lot was hot or other things like that. When my kids come to me with homework I have difficulty helping them. I haven't been able to get treatment for my fibromyalgia. How bad will it get?

I have had a bad short term memory for as long as i can remember. Lol. But in the past 2 years going through heavy stress i have noticed that ill go to say something and the word escapes me. I also have to write everything ...down appointments, Kids activities, bills. If it isnt written down most likly it isnt gonna happen. And i feel it is progressing for me and that is scary. Kind of makes me want to write a book or make a bunch of scrap books "if i had the energy and writing makes my hand cramp.

great question. I have the same issue. My brain fog is so bad. I would like to get a weighted blanket and see if that helps with rest which will help with all this. Problem is the price.
